PACT Construction has begun work on Iris Residential’s 46-apartment development. One Mabel Park, in Jolimont.
The project is a $55 million, multi-residential development designed by architect Cameron Chisholm Nicol. It will comprise mostly three-bedroom apartments throughout six levels, overlooking the suburb’s parklands.
One Mabel Park will also feature solar rooftop panels and sustainably sourced timber, among other environmentally considered elements.
Iris Residential Managing Director Simon Trevisan said the development’s proximity to Henderson Park and Mabel Talbot Mark was a drawcard, with more than 50 per cent of the apartments already sold.
“As always with property, it is the location,” he said.
“One Mabel Park, with its direct frontage on two of Perth’s most beautiful established inner-city parks, was clearly the best located project in the precinct.”
The development falls within Parkside Walk, a joint initiative by state owned DevelopmentWA and the Town of Cambridge, which will redevelop land (vacant since 1994) into a residential estate.
