Builder chosen for $110M Grandton Applecross project

Developers Norup & Wilson have selected a builder to deliver its a $110 million, 14-storey Grandton Applecross project in Perth.

PACT Construction was appointed as preferred construction partner for the luxury senior living project.

Designed in collaboration with Silver Thomas Hanley, the Grandton Applecross will include 80 strata-titled serviced retirement living apartments with one, two and three bed options, 10 private care suites, communal resident facilities, rooftop garden and restaurant and an office on the ground floors.

PACT Construction General Manager Jason Thomson said PACT is proud to have been chosen for the project.

“Norup & Wilson are hands-on, experienced operators and there is really good alignment, synergy and collaboration between our teams. We are looking forward to working closely with Norup & Wilson to successfully deliver the project,” Thomson said.

Grandton Applecross is purposefully designed to be more spacious than traditional apartment offerings and the design enables adaption to changing health and lifestyle needs. The building is designed to Class 9C standards with 24-hour service within the building, providing an immediate response to care requirements.

Construction of Grandton Applecross is anticipated to commence in October 2021.
