PROJECT AWARD: Roy Hill Corporate Headquarters
PACT Construction are excited to announce our appointment as construction partner for Roy Hill's new headquarters…
This project saw our team engaged as the design and construct builder. We took the client brief from the General Manager of Dale Alcock Homes South West, commenced the purpose-built facility in February 2005 and fully completed the project by Christmas. It was developed by ABN Group and designed by Meyer Shircore.
A tight building program, combined with a feverish construction market and rural location, certainly challenged our team. To override this challenge, we utilised a combination of Bunbury and Perth trades. While identifying the right trades to partner with was always going to prove difficult, we relied upon our solid networks to ensure good value and certainty of supplier.
The integrated fit out is a highlight of this project, featuring workstations and office spaces, boardroom and meeting rooms, showroom / selection areas, kitchen and a covered entertaining area.
The delivery of this project saw PACT partner once again with design firm Meyer Shircore and Associates. Local tradespeople and contractors demolished the previous structures and amalgamated the three sites, before construction and fitting out of the base building began.
The development features an array of external cladding systems, including curtain wall glazing, Donnybrook sandstone wall cladding to the main tilt-up wall panels and long span corrugated wall cladding to the spandrels. External louvered sun shading adds a modern touch.
Importantly, the building orientation was established to create the best possible energy efficiency outcomes.
