HOW WE’RE BUILDING POTENTIAL WITH A STRUCTURED, SUPPORTIVE CADET PROGRAM Lewis and Nic come from different…
TYPE OF PROJECT
The Whitfield is a mixed-use development located in the heart of the Bassendean Town Centre and comprises of a ground floor café, offices and carpark with 34 apartments over a four-storey development. The building envelope has been constructed using traditional brickwork, glazed balustrading and Colorbond roofing. It was developed by Willing Property.
We won the project through a competitive tender process.
- The site had a high water table which required extensive dewatering to enable in-ground concrete footings and services installations. Dewatering took place for approximately eight weeks and the water was discharged into the sewer in coordination with Water Corporation.
- To meet the tight program, we saved time by changing pour sequences and altering the fascia truss detail.
- The attractive extensive brickwork is a highlight of this development.
- Another highlight is the tower and spire featuring a structural steel frame, CFC cladding to lantern frame, metal roof sheeting and purpose-made metal roof capping.
