Address: Lot 5 & 53 Sheffield Road, Welshpool, WA 6106
Project Value: $12 Million
Construction Time: 42 weeks
This $12 Million development is the home of Jason Windows’ new factory and offices in Welshpool.
Designed by CDM, the project comprised a large glass processing facility, manufacturing facility and a warehousing facility.
A floor area, totalling 11,600m2, was constructed using a portal steel and precast concrete frame building envelope. A mixture of Colorbond and FC cladding was used for the wall cladding, along with a Zincalume sheeting system for the roof.
The project also delivered an adjoining two-storey office facility that includes a feature entrance lobby and reception, a two-stop passenger lift, state-of-the-art selection area, extensive office areas, open plan workstation areas, meeting rooms, boardrooms staff hub and casual/informal meeting areas.
External works included extensive bitumen roads and car parking, along with exposed aggregate footpaths and hard stands to the courtyard area. The site’s perimeter was then landscaped.
The project was successfully completed in 42 weeks, and handed over to the client in May 2010.
